50$ Robot Resistor

Hello all. I am currently working on soldering my board for my 50$ robot's brain. In the tutorial it says that a resistor is connected to the LED (roughly underneath the servo outputs on the board). I was wondering which resistor is suppose to be soldered into this spot as the list of parts suggests buying two types of resistors, and the ones I bought do not have the same colors as the one featured in the pictures.

What color bands does your resistor have on it? Make sure you name them in the order they appear as it is important... or read this link:  http://www.bcdxc.org/resistor_color_codes.htm .
I am not sure what the tutorial says to use, but a value like 330 Ohms is good for a current limiting resistor on an LED... assuming you're using a battery.

Thank you. Your advice on the 330 ohm resistor used with a LED was very helpful. The resistor I have is a 340 ohm, and I discovered the purpose of the other resistors (1.6 kohm) I have.

I would love to know because I don't see it on the $50 robot other than as part of the list.

Pretty sure the 1.6 kohm resistors are for your photoresistor sensors.
