Title: Need help with DAC, tutorial
Post by: darkartic on September 28, 2011, 05:40:50 PM
Hi all,

This is my first post, and i was hoping all of you could help me with a little problem im having.

Im trying to control a 3 DOF robot arm, im just at the beginning, the arm is already built and the problems im having are with the daq (mcc, i cant really figure it out), the signals from the encoders and how can i generate pwm with matlab so i can control the motors.

I already have all of the daqs and encoder and is a must that i use matlab to control this arm.

I was hoping if you could help me with like a workflow or some detailed example of most importantly the use of the daqs and the generation of the pwm throught the daq via matlab.

Im leaving you the specific cards and components that i have, please help is really urgent.

The DAQ is : pci-das6025 --> an mcc product
The encoder is : Dynapar M21 encoder

If you need anything else please tell me. I appeciate your help.

Thank you a lot.
