Your link doesn't go to anything useful, however, when I looked up the HS-311 servo on Servo City's website, all I could find was a standard servo that would have to be modified for continuous rotation.

If you look closer on Servo City's website, you can select in the drop-down 90 degree rotation, 180 degree rotation, or continuous rotation.
Personally at an extra $20 per servo for continuous rotation, I would personally but them unmodified and do the modification myself. But to answer the original poster's question, yes you could use the continuous rotation version of the HS-311 available at ServoCity instead of performing the modification yourself.
