12v pwm servo board... is there such a thing?
« on: June 02, 2013, 09:17:29 AM »
I am looking for a servo control board some what like the "open servo" board. The main difference is that I still want to control the board with the standard pwm signal from a hobby radio control. It needs to function exactly the same as the standard board that it will replace except it needs to handle ~12v on the motor drive side. Signal wire will still be ~5-6v. If this type of board isn't available then would adding two mosfets between the board and the motor allow me to use the power leaving the board to simply switch the mosfets/relays letting them send 12v to the motor while still isolating to board from the higher voltage? I'm obviously an electronics newb, but i would greatly appreciate the help I need to get this project off the ground.
