« on: March 21, 2009, 10:07:35 AM »
hi guys
i'm looking for universal header for PIC programming that would use 40-PIN ZIF socket
i want to use it for 16F and 18F PICs
searching google didn't bring any good results, maybe someone here has a good, working schematic for such header

I don't understand your question, are you looking for the schematic of the programmer?

erm..yes,that is ZIF socket alright,but where's the header?? :P
i have ZIF socket what i need is a schematic so i can use it to programmer 16F and 18F PICs with the header
as a header i mean an extension to programmer, with universal socket that enables to programm different types of PICs

here's what i tried to use,but it seems that it only works with 18PIN 16F family PICs(ie.it doesn't recognize my 18F452 PIC)

btw.the programmer i use is PICkit2 from microchip and it works with custom headers, but i don't want to build/make a header each time i change PIC :P
