I am of course a big fan of Don Hertzfeldt. I hadn't seen his robot film in a long time:

I must say that my favourite part of this animation is the "Silly hats only" part. Many times I've seen this and everytime I've laughed. Very educational, can't see why Family Learning Channel wouldn't approve. ;D

Yeah, the second one confused the hell out of me with all the blood and stuff...
Although, now that i think about it i have seen parts of this ripped as peoples avatars on other forums...

Kinda reminds me of Jhonen Vasquez's work, well known for Invader Zim, less well known for Squee, johnny the homocidal maniac and fillerbunny. If you  liked this clip, chances are you'll like his work.
