I am trying to get my robot to autonomously follow me, and to my understanding the cheapest, most reliable way is to use optical glyph tracking. Does anyone know of or have a code for this for RoboRealm? I checked google and it literally yielded four results. Is there a better way if not? I am up for any suggestions!

this will track a red blob

But is that really reliable unless your wearing a bright red shirt? Or can you switch the color it tracks?
-
You can switch the color to whatever you want. Red just stands out more.

A glyph is a very complex type of fiducial marker used to track position and rotation, so the software will be hard to find. A "red blob" is simple fiducial marker to track but should meet your needs. Try searching "fiducial marker tracking software". If you really need full on glyph tracking, you could step up to AR Tool Kit if you can program in, C Matlab or Java.

MaltiK,
The key word you need for RoboRealm is "Fiducial". Check this out:

You could also try GotAGlyph (http://gotabot.weebly.com/gotaglyph1.html (http://gotabot.weebly.com/gotaglyph1.html)). Its free and its performance is superior to RoboRealm at higher resolutions.
