This is an amazing project, although i noticed a bug with various test runs and after a while the robot will just register its shadow and chase it instead.... i will post the updated code when i figure it out. hope you guys enjoy! (^_^)

I used three wheels. Two main driven by servos and one swinging caster. if you need a good reference, the Clumsy V1.2 has a great example that is very similar to my setup :p

Good Luck on your first robot, I know I had fun building mine!

I give A+ for the exterior design. Somewhy it reminds me of a "dog" from Despicable Me sniffing around, looking for something  ;D

Thanks for all the great comments! Right now I am trying to improve on the code so that when it finds a shadow it does not follow it. Turns out a whole bunch harder then I previously thought it was. I guess it kinda falls under the phrase, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Idk, the bug where it choses to chase shadows instead of light really bugs me though.

This looks cool, is there a guide on how to build autonomous robots for the first time?
