how to make a robot using microprocessor

i have a old cpu . i want to use its micro processor for faster processesing but how to use it

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?

Yeah,

You would probably need the entire motherboard... along with your entire computer.  The CPU is your central processing unit, which is just the part that performs all your "processing" / number crunching.  The CPU needs a place to store temporary data (memory), as well as program instructions (hard drive / memory), and also will need to utilize various other hardware that are not available on your CPU.

If you wish to use a stand alone unit to program and control a robot, I would highly recommend a micro-controller.  More can be read about a microcontroller here:
