It's a really neat design, and more robust/cheaper than a quadrotor.

The Top Gun theme music was a bit inappropriate lol . . .

That would be SO COOL if it had a rolling algorithm that let it get around by rolling, then it could take off mid roll.

Sure the outside would get beat up but that's replaceable.  

I don't think it could to flips like the quadrotors though.
