Title: Charge HiTec battery?
Post by: offy on February 20, 2009, 02:44:57 PM
I want to buy this http://www.all-battery.com/6v1000mahnicdsidebysiderxreceiverbatterypackswithhi-tecconnectorcustomize.aspx but am not sure how I will charge it. How will I go about charging this? Is there a charger I can buy?

Yes there is a charger you will need to buy for this battery.  I suggest this Charger.  Its from the same site you are getting your battery.

I have this charger and it works great.  It can fully charge my 6v 2300 mAh NiMH batteries (i got them from allbattery.com also) in about 2 hours.  This is a great charger, i recommend you buy it.  If you do, under "adaptor" choose "with BEC and Hitec adaptor" so that you can plug it into your batteries Hitech connector...

I looked at that and didn't think it was for hitec, but I didn't see the adapter thing. Thanks, I will get that one. Thanks for the help.

it might not have a hitech connector, so you might need to crimp your own like i did. also, if you dont mind spending like 4 or 5 dollars more, i would get a NimH, as they always last longer and you do not need to discharge them!!!
