Title: Need help with ethernet microcontroller/motor controller
Post by: RoboEagle on March 16, 2010, 11:25:32 PM
Hello All,

Im working on a senior project for a national robot competition for a robot to dig up dirt. One design criteria is to control the robot over internet/Wi-Fi. Our team decided to go with the ethernet motor controller option, mounted to a router, in order to avoid heavy programming for any MCU. Unfortunately, the board isnt working, and we recieved 2 dead boards from the vendor. Does anyone recommend any other replacement for an ethernet motor controller?

I am looking for an wireless capable, or ethernet capable MCU that would withstand about 15 A into each motor (2 drive motors). Thank in advance
