Title: Are there any long term benifits of getting the better programer in 50 buck robo

Are there any long term benifits of getting the better programer in 50 buck robot? Please help. I would like to order one or the other soon. Thanks...

Yes, the more expensive one allows you to program a much larger variety of AVR microcontrollers. It also has many other neat features, too complicated for a beginner to understand, but useful as you get more advanced. Its also much easier to use, more reliable, and can be run directly in the AVR Studio IDE.

my craze phase for electronics is kinda over now. I'm more leaning toward building a go gart now.
