Hello
I'm trying to mount a block of plastic onto the motor's shaft so I can attach a disk onto the mount. My motor has a D shaped shaft. What's the best way to achieve this?
I only ways I can think of is drilling a hole into the shaft and tapping into it with a screw, but the shaft is only a 3-4mm so it could be risky.
Or drill larger hole into the block, stick the motor shaft in and fill it with some filler? What's a good adhesive/filler for metal bonding?

Drill a hole in the block for a reasonably tight fit and then drill a smaller hole into the block (perpendicular to the shaft) and tap it for a set screw. Then position the block so that the screw hits the flat part of the shaft.
