So I am trying to make a skycam type of gantry system using 3 wires instead of 4. (I don't have an extra stepper) I have it all hooked up and running but I haven't done any of the inverse kinematics stuff for it. Does anyone know of a source (preferably online but I'll take what I can get) that can show me how to calculate the inverse kinematics of a wire driven bot with n number of wires? Thanks in advance!
