Title: What is your carrer?
Post by: jklv on July 01, 2007, 12:22:12 AM
I'm going to go for Mechatronics or Computer systems. But I do not know if there ir really good oportunitys for graduates, I don't want to be unemployed you know x3. I've heard a lot that Engineers are very neede right now, especially in computers stuff, and of course industrial and mechatronics. But is this real?, about how much is the average salary of an engineer?

depends, theres thousands of different engineering fields, but I would guess for a grad starting salary around 40k-70k and some of the more experienced engineering positions could bring in about 120k-180k, thats my rough estimate, if anyone knows for sure what the average is please correct me.

I'm going to college for Industrial Design, so pretty much all the steps before a product goes to an engineer.
