PS2 to robot
« on: April 11, 2009, 08:06:17 AM »
Hi everybody,
I find this forum the most helpful but unfortunately i couldn't find the details of how to make the PS2 joystick work actually,so i have some questions that i hope anybody answer me please.
1)how could i know the pin configuration(what each button's signal?)or alternatively what happens to the pins when i press some button ??
2)How to connect this and make the logic different according to my application ?

I'm using microcontroller AVR to control the speed of dc motor (using H-bridge)
Clockwise and anticlockwise directions also brake and PWM ....
please i need this urgently..i search alot but i couldn't find what i want ?

read Dunks_PS2_page
There is firmware on there you can use to make your own firmware.
He also gives links to what he found useful.
The question that drives me hazy:

Am I, or the others crazy?
