Title: Help for robot guidance system
Post by: Miketm150 on December 26, 2012, 01:54:56 PM
Hi

I'm new here, I'm a farmer and quite simply I know nothing about robots!  But I have a need for a system to control a hydraulically driven machine for cleaning out cow cubicles. So I'm looking for someone who can develop a system to control the machine autonomously, using some kind of system to navigate around the obstacles in the cubicle building!

Anyone help ?

Mike

There exist various research and development firms that work on exactly those kinds of things. Anything from self-driving cars to berry-picking automatons. There is also (in the US at least) a thriving hobby robotics area, where "combat bots" and "self-driving lawn mowers" are typical home-made projects, and perhaps someone in that area could be interested in helping.

What's your budget?
