I just heard that Akihabara got two new robot shops (http://www.lovingthemachine.com/2009/05/recession-not-in-robot-land.html).
That brings it to a total five of them now:

http://www.technologia.co.jp/ (http://www.technologia.co.jp/)

http://www.robospot.jp/ (http://www.robospot.jp/)
http://www.rt-net.jp/ (http://www.rt-net.jp/) (link appears dead, but google says its ok (http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:edJEJ9n9W1cJ:www.rt-net.jp/index.php%3Fmain_page%3Dindex%26language%3Den+japan+rt+corp&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a))
Now if I ever stop canceling my trip to Japan, maybe I'll even visit them all (like a teenage girl in Mall of America)! :P

Admin,
Do any of these shops carry your Axon board? I would like to get one locally since I don't have a CC (here in Japan) so I have limited means of paying.
Regards,
Rommel

Nope.
Unfortunately Japanese robot builders mostly only buy Japanese - they don't really associate themselves with us gaijin :P
I *might* go to Japan in ~4 months, in which case I'll bring one, but don't think I'll be going.
Another option would be Western Union.

No WU here in Japan.
I'll just wait for a trip back to the US :-)
