PIR Motion Detector Problem
« on: May 27, 2009, 07:35:17 PM »
Hi all,

I have a PIR that has an output that floats at .9 volts and sometimes triggers.  How do I get that down to 0 volts?

Thanks you,
Jason

use a pull down resistor?
use a 10k resistor from the signal line to gnd and see if that helps...

Thank you!  I think the problem is with the schmitt trigger IC.  I ordered a new one.  If that doesn't fix the problem, then I'll try the pull down resistor.
