Title: how to control about 6 small dc motors...

i'm building an automated parking module for which i'll need to control 8 motors and 2 servos..how should i control the motors.i'll be using small dc geared motors

How you should control them depends a lot on what "they" are. Some more details would be helpful, but take a look at http://www.pololu.com/catalog/category/11 (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/category/11)

If they are NOT steppers or brushless motors, then You need 6 H-bridges driven by 6 PWM channels. For 2 servos You will need 2 more PWM channels.

It also depends on what you mean by "control". Do you needed to:
Turn them on/off is only one rotating direction?
Turn them on/off in two rotating directions?
Control their speed and direction?

Each control method has a different solution.

out of the 6 motors 2 would need to just switch on nd off and the other 4 need to switch on and off and also change direction of rotation
