MCU Browning Out
« on: September 03, 2007, 12:01:58 AM »
Well the motors would go for a split second, and the program resets, I already have a 22uF cap across the power (unregulated 9v) and ground, and a 0.1uF between the ground and the 5v, what can I do to stop the resets?

Is the 9V battery your only power source?

If so, that is the problem. They cannot supply enough juice to power motors, so you will need to get another separate battery. I recommend a 6V NiMH type battery that is at least 1500mAh.

Thanks, I actually got a 6V 700mAh Ni-Cd battery + charger recently, for $3 and it's new!
