Yeap, airman00, Webbot, and I are working on this in the background. airman00 (who makes the DroneCell) didn't want me to post it yet until he had his site updated.
Stay tuned for more info ;)

I will defiantly buy one when available. I've had plans on automating my room and this would be perfect for remote operating.
is this the website?

Excellent. I'm sending a DroneCell into space in two weeks, myself :P
I actually spent an hour today going to the various cell phone carriers in the mall and finding out their text messaging plans to use for DroneCell. The prices were disappointing.
I passed the info on to airman00, and he said he thinks he can beat the price. :D

verizon by any chance? I have the unlimited text plan already for my phone. Would you just have to add another line?
-
Find out how much it costs to activate that new line, their text messaging per month fee, and how many months you can go without refilling before they de-activate your account.
airman00 is working on this to get you the best prices :P
-
true, verizon is rather pricey but where i live i get at least 3 bars and im in the woods.
Would it be possible to barrow a sim card from another phone?
ps; I don't think my sister would notice if her's was missing :D

yeap . . . but that'd only work for temporary stuff, or if you didn't have to say "i'm sending it to space and you might not see it again" :P

Its going to be fun for me - as I don't get much of a mobile/cell phone signal since I live in the sticks. May have to move various bits to different parts of the house at different times of the day. But then I guess thats called 'stress testing' !
