what exactly does a serrvo controller do and why would you need it.

servo is a geared down motor with feedback to where the motor is positioned

how does it do that? does it make PWM into degrees or something?

a 1500ms pwm signal will usually center it.

1000 left
2000 right

mayeb reversed servo to servo

yea but this can be done without a servo controller but why do u need the servo controller then?
