Allegro H Bridge

Hey guys
I just got 4 samples of the Allegro 3959 full H Bridge, I'm not too sure about how to wire it up to a microcontroller as it has some different pin names and new functions than what I'm used to. Here's the data sheet http://www.allegromicro.com/datafile/3959.pdf, if anyone knows of an H Bridge that is similar to this that has a schematic for it, that would be great. Thanks- Brandon

You can get free samples with included overnight shipping from almost all major IC manufacturers- the biggest one I know of is Maxim they have virtually all of their products as free samples, allegro also offers many useful free samples

National Semiconductor and Philips also have sampling programs that don't require much.

I know manufacturers will do that, but I've asked my pc teacher if it is possible to say it's for a school robotics club demonstration, and get a couple samples. but he said they'd call the school to verify it.

Basically it requires a little dishonesty in that you have to call your self a company (you have to provide a business name and such), but that is no problem, the way I see it, if they really wanted to stop nonbusiness related samples they should require like some kind of business verification. Seeing as they don't, I and many others have acted on their ignorance.

So is there anyone else out there who knows how I can get this working, or if anyone knows of a similar ic H bridge and have the schematics to make it work?

I posted this link further up - http://www.jameco.com/Jameco/Products/ProdDS/241867FSC.pdf - it's a simple dual h-bridge (2 motors) that costs about $0.50 and is readily available.  I've yet to blow one up.
