What do you need inspect for? Search online for a sensor that can find what you need . . . perhaps ultrasonic scanner would work?

are these real train tracks?

are the broken parts just small cracks, or seperation in the track?

its hard to tell you what sensor if i dont know the details, could you explain more?

you can probably just use a photoresistor sensor, so when the light
'breaks,' that is where the track is damaged.

a photoresistor/phototransistor sensor, with an LED illuminator, will work best.

just search your favorite electronic parts distributor for either of those names. they are extremely common and very very cheap.
