Title: Where should i buy these items?
Post by: Molni on July 04, 2013, 04:30:48 AM
I am  beginner hobby robotist, and I would like to make the 50$ robot. My problem is that I live in Hungary and i have to buy photoresistors and a PC board, but Radioshack is not ship to hungary (as well as I know).
Where can I buy these products as a hungarian? (Theres is no eletronics store os something like this nearby.) :(

There are sellers in the UK. Unknown how shipping and duties are from the UK to Hungry.

I'm pretty sure that there are factories making things (in general) in Hungary. That probably means there are motion control suppliers/servicers in Hungary. That means there are likely parts suppliers/distributors for servicing that equipment. Those are maybe not very geared towards hobbyists, but you can likely find them in a phone book or on the internet.

For example, Arrow Electronics (a large electronics parts supplier) seems to be in Hungary:

You could google "hungary electronics parts supplier" to find more.
