It is possible to reuse a Microchip from a board (for example from a VCR player circuit board) to reuse it for my 3d printer project board ? To rewrite the Microchip for a different task ?
-
Do you mean a Microchip manufacture's PIC processor?
It can be reused, re-programmed, only if it can be Erased and then reprogrammed. Look up the part number stamped on the part and read it's data sheet to find out.

Thank you so much for the answer ! I m just a real beginner and i just received a big stock of various electronic devices...so i think is the time to use them and to learn in the same time. I start already to build the mechanical part of my 3D printer (model delta) and now i m at the hard part...electronics :)
Your answer is really helping me !

One more question about the above topic !
Mister (waltr),how can i rewrite the Microchips who was removed from different electronical devices boards ...one by one before soldering them one the new board ??? ...or i can write them after my new board is manufactured, soldered with all of the electronical components ?
You need to read the data sheets and app notes on Microchip's parts. Its all there:

First, Microchip is a BRAND name like FORD or NISSIAN.
Second, most of this chips found in consumer device like DVD players are custom made and there will be NO INFO available and they are not re-purposable.
