Post by: JSH21 on July 25, 2008, 09:57:59 PM
Hi i was wondering if the Arduino Diecimila USB microcontroller board can control servos without a servo controller? like is there a way to attach a servo to it?

Here is the Arduino Diecimila: http://www.robotshop.ca/home/products/arduino-usb-microcontroller-board.html

Yeap, you don't need a servo controller. The arduino can control servos.

Ahh that saves me a lot of money but also where do you put the wires of the servo i cant seem to locate (in the picture) where the 3 servo wires would go. Do you have to seperate them?

Read this tutorial since it is using Arduino with servos and motors.
