how to set a servo to continuos rotation?
« on: September 28, 2013, 10:24:25 AM »
hi guys,
this post is regarding the 50$ robot.
you must be thinking why am I not checking out the tutorial. but It does not clearly describes when to connect the servo to microcontroller to command it zero degrees. is it after building the pcb along with the componants? because the mcontroller comes at the last on pcb. there are two different hex files for servo 0 degree rotation and mcontroller programme . please sort this out for me anyone    :-\

Once you've got the board built, and the 0 deg rotation program uploaded, you connect the servo and then rotate the servo's potentiometer until it is centered.  It's centered when the servo stops moving.

Did you modify the servo? (Wasn't clear if you had); To do the above, you'll probably need to have the servo partially disassembled (i.e. you need to be able to access the potentiometer).
