so anyways, im in australia and as a few of you may have heard the shipping from us is horrible! trossen quoted me $70 for the roboduino! so i was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get one in aus? or if someone could be paid by me to buy one and ship it to me? and i was just wondering is there more than one roboduino? because this came up on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Roboduino,-Arduino-Duemilanove-Compatible,Free-cables_W0QQitemZ220355074358QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090203?IMSfp=TL090203144004r5738

That's not a Roboduino - it only has a single header pin for each I/O port.

The Roboduino is made and sold by "Curious Inventor". If you want one, that's the place to go. If you find it somewhere else chances are it's a clone - you should buy the real deal because it was made by SoR member airman00 :) - support your peers!

Go here:
http://www.curiousinventor.com/kits/roboduino

Add your roboduino to the cart; At the bottom of the "cart' page you'll see an invitation to request a quote by email at: sales_at_CuriousInventor.com if you live outside of USA. They say they're shipping with USPS. I went to the USPS and requested a quote for shipping an 1 Pound package to Australia: the cheapest option is $10, the most expensive option is $32.5 - way cheaper then the $70 you were quoted before!

If you can't work out shipping with the Curious Inventor people you can build your own Roboduino. On the "kit" page you can find a bill of materials and eagle schematics: pretty much all you need to make your own.

Yep , we are proud to be 100% open-source!
One thing to note - it will cost you more to make it yourself then to buy it from us.
Check out the Roboduino, Arduino-compatible board!
