I was thinking about making a UK store that would ship around the world for robotics, but im only 13 so donno when i might start (but my dad's encouraging me and you never know, at 14 i might have my own online store!
-
thats always a good idea, but for most stores that operate like that you have to have a bit of cash up front to buy the stuff in bulk. :(

Hi,
And you'd have to compete with eg. DealExtreme who sells from $4.90 up, with worldwide shipping included.
Take a look-see at http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.servo (http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.servo)
And some of all the other gadgets is worth going over as well.
Just watch out for severely bad plastic products (it is from China after all) and check if any import restrictions apply where you live.

Hi,
[...] does anyone know of an online store that is in australia?
Check the link I posted. Shipping is included in the prices, so you don't need the shop to be in Australia.

Dealextreme takes roughly 3 weeks from the point you click order to when the stuff arrives. Just search for an Austrailian RC model shop, they have servos there.

But according to these guys they sell it at a outrageous price. I'd prefer to wait 3 weeks and get my servo at a decent price....
Anyway, I'm glad to leave in Canada!

and thanks for that link soeren!

this isnt fair u know, i mean sometimes what u need is things that are readily available and not ordering in the internet coz they take many days to ship and reach here , so i hope that shopkeepers soon start importing these servos and other robotics materials so that ppl can buy them easily and dont have to follow useless rules and regulations and wait even more after ordering in the net
Good luck. I'm in New York and I can't find anything not online.

I imported many parts , but like the Axon board I paid 150 dollars for it , and customs (The Netherlands) charged me an extra 18 euros , the postal service also 18 euro's for making vague import services, so the postman was collecting an extra 36 euro's for the package (Axon).
Although I am happy with the product, it was a bit of a suprise.....
