Title: sonar reciever circuit

hey folks, a friend of mine wants to use an ultrasonic sensor transmitter / reciever to measure distance
,he needs the reciever circuit schematic, if anyone has info ill appreciate it

did you Google "ultrasonic schematic"?  what device is he using for the receiver?

Its not easy to build sonar from 'scratch'. Unless he just wants to understand how to make sonar, I'd recommend just buying one for $20.

yea actually he told me he did a loota tries but none worked, i never worked with sonar circuits so i couldnt be much help
,first he wanted to input the pulse into the input capture pin of the micro and calculate the time elapsed so get the distance,that didnt work
,i dunno why
now he is tryin to get the distance from the voltage level using adc
