I tried to modify my servo but i don't have the right tools for it, so i just gave up on it. I'm building the $50 robot and am wondering where i can just buy a continous servo for cheap. I looked on servocity.com and the hs 311 servo with continous rotation is $29 just for one. Anyone know where I can buy cheap servos under $20 that rotate continously and is compatible with the $50 robot?

What part of the world are you from. If you live in America look at the given link but if not don't go there as the postage is kinda price. Do you have a local model and or hobby shop as they often stock servos.

robotshop.com, solarbotics.com, hobbyengineering.com, parallax.com, techsupplies.co.uk
those places all have continuous rotation servos for about the same as a regular servo ;)

*sigh* Just post the plain old link. http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-HRC31425CR.html (http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-HRC31425CR.html)
That servo will most likely be able to work with your robot.
It is pretty similar to the hs-311 used in the $50 robot, with a tiny amount less torque.
