Hi,
I am presently making a system for a carnival LASER shooting gallery, made with discrete digital logic (no microcontrollers involved, a design demand) and while in the process, it would be fairly small potatoes to make a spin off for robotics use, so I wonder if there's any interest in a canned system for eg. robot tanks.
The parameters can be pretty fluid, so microcontrollers could be used instead of discrete logic. The sound, recoil and light effects can be kept, or left out, as needed and so on, as the only really rigid parameter (and what will need most testing time) is the timing requirements.
