I would have probably put protective rings around the blades, just in case it crashed . . . and I'd probably wear a visor, just in case a blade found my face . . . but still this is pretty amazing :D

i did see video of a tethered flight test. can't seem to find it now.
it was exactly as noisy as you would expect 8 single cylinder 2 stroke motorcycle engines to be...

although it looked more stable than i was expecting, he is a long way off untethered flight.

He might actually be able to pull that off if he put the seat below - not above - the rotating death blades. He's top heavy and has no control systems to stay balanced.

(My bike is a 4-cylinder and at full throttle it's really loud . . . I can't imagine eight 2-cylinders!!!) :o

Haha, I'd have to agree with those safety points. Actually, that looks awesome. Where can I get one with protective rings? and a cage around the seat?
