Hi, Can anyone explain to me how to connect an LDR (photoresistor) to a circuit. web site 1 is a rough diagram of how I want my circuit to be.
web site 1 : http://www.picoodle.com/view.php?img=/3/10/24/f_fileCDocumem_1546efd.jpg&srv=img02
By the way i'm not professional in these things, so please i appreciate if you keep it as simple as possible.
and sorry for my weired English:/
Thanks in advance :)

gust soldiring them ??? as far as i know you need to use other components to make the resistor to work. am i right ?

Hey there, as far as just connecting the LED to a circuit, yes, soldering is the way to go. If you are asking about other parts of the circuit, that can vary. This may help you out http://www.societyofrobots.com/electronics_led_tutorial.shtml (http://www.societyofrobots.com/electronics_led_tutorial.shtml). There are also some other tutorials here http://www.societyofrobots.com/robot_tutorial_index.shtml that may help you out.

thanks ang5t :)
but i was browsing and saw this site: http://www.technologystudent.com/elec1/lgtdrk2.htm .so why in this diagram there are more components such as resistors, relay, transistor etc ??

By the way i want to connect a motor instead of an LED.
Thanks again :)
