so as some of you know i have entered the 2nd SoR robot competition.
anyway i just wanted to tell you about my project and for some suggestions.
okay so my robot is called All-Terain Survallance Robot or ATSR for short. so it is rc, it uses a all-terrain rc truck for the base. then it has a welleded metel roof th cover the elctronis. to house the rc recever i will order a free sample weather proof case from packtech enclosers. i will cut a circle in the center of the metel case and put a clear plastic dome over it. this is where i will have the 2 servos and camera for pan and tilt.
i will be including a section on how to make your own portable base staition to carry around with you.
a upgrade i am thinking of including is mounting a snow plow on the front to shovel your driveway and maybe a trailor hitch.
that is all so post some feed back.
and remember vote for cooldog

trailer hitch? wouldn't it be easier to carry whatever you want than tow it :p
good luck.
have you thought about using a lexan RC car body instead of the metal roof?
