Title: Really flat and slim motor.

Im searching for a really really flat motor for a really slim design of a sumo robot. A slim robot will be invisible to many robots sensory! :)

The motors needs to be as flat as possible but still able to offer good amounts of torque. The idea is to put them pointed upward and gear it with a wormgear to get the output shaft outward to the sides. Hopefully I'll get down the height to 1 cm, if i find a flat enough motor.

Anyone that know where i could get such a motor?

I have a few flat 6-wire stepper motors. I think I pulled them from old disk drives. The body is about 2inch in diameter, and about 1/2inch think. The shaft sticks out about 1/4inch. If you're interested, let me know.

another option . . . use several small motors combined
