simple question about servos control
« on: January 21, 2008, 10:09:59 AM »
Hi, everyone:

I have built a two wheels robot that used a mini ATX motherboard and a parallax servo control with two servos to be controlled. I have designed a GUI interface to do simiply control in MATLAB, problem is when I give a control postion conmmand simpliy like from 1250 to 500, why two servos working not at the same time, also the right servo has many breaks? how can I solve it?

I urgently need help to solve this out! if anybody know about it please give me some suggestion!

Thanks a million advance! :o

your problem is that you cannot get the two servos to work at the same time? and the right servo pauses too much ?

just send a pulse to one servo to go forward and another to go forward

if you mounted your servos on your bot it would be one servo is forward and one is backward, then the bot would move in the forward direction.
