Just going back the dual-motor driver from Dimension Engineering and the part that looks like a sabertooth 2X5: the DIP switches are also guided via
http://dimensionengineering.com/datasheets/Sabertoothdipwizard/start.htmI should mention "How to make a robot with AxonII MCU" in
http://www.societyofrobots.com/axon2/axon2_videos.shtml that the DIP switch looks to be set as follows:
1 on -- Enable mixed mode for differential drive steering
2 off -- Disable exponential (linear motor throttle)
3 on -- Non-lithium mode
4 off -- Digital flip mode
5 off -- Disable auto-calibrate
6 on -- Enable signal timeout (Helps prevent the robot driving away when there is a loss of signal)
I'll take a punt on this part anyway and order to get going here. Essentially, I just want to make sure that I'm not buying the wrong part.
Thanks
