Title: servo angle control
Post by: goliathpower on October 01, 2010, 08:19:27 AM
hi

im quite new to servos, so i need a little help.

I want to control a servo in my car. (making a custom console) and i want to control the servo with buttons. And one button makes the servo to turn 90 degrees. one button makes the servo go 180 degrees, and one button makes it reverse 90 or 180 degees.

What type of control would i need to do so?
Preferable a chip or small control.

You have a lot of options, the simplest with most flexibility, would be to get a microcontroller.  You could program it to command the servos to any position.  You can get some very small microcontrollers at reasonable prices.

This (http://That.Homepage.dk/PDF/Pushbutton_Servo_Control.pdf) should do.
