Title: Need help with the $50 Robot
Post by: gallatorix on April 24, 2007, 10:01:51 PM
Ok, i'm wanting to build my first robot, but i live in australia and all the shops you've listed in the tuitoral are in america, or online america stores. Does anyone know if there is a shop in australia that sells the parts needed for the $50 robot?
Thanks in advance

if you call the online stores, they'll probably send it, but it'll cost more

try these guys:
http://www.rsaustralia.com (http://www.rsaustralia.com)
don't know what their Australian branch is like but i've used them in several countries with reasonable results. (although a little on the expensive side.)

again, i've used these guys from a few different countries:
http://www.farnell.com/ (http://www.farnell.com/)
and looking on their website they have an Australian branch.

i know digikey.com (http://digikey.com) ships world wide but shipping times aren't that fast if you order from the US site if memory serves.

hope this helps.

dunk.
