Hello. I dont know if anyone had done the 50 dollar robot project but I am currently working on the board. I accidently put the voltage regulator right next to the capiciter ( I think there is supposed to be a space or 2 imbetween).I was just wandering if it will still work. I need to know because I am terrible at sodder sucking thanks.

The location of stuff doesnt matter, just the wiring. You should be fine.
I tend to try and space my parts so that soldering will be easier, and traces wont touch each other.
