Post by: farnoise on November 20, 2011, 01:04:47 PM
Hey guys,
I am a newbie so please bare with me on this. I am working on this 50$Robot and I tried to use some of my old components to get it going, however I have a ATMega168 -28pin not the Atmega8 as in the tutorial... could someone please guide me in the right direction to see what it takes to replace the 168 model with 8 model (Pin's connection)... and I also have a USB cable that I use to program my 168 MCU and it has 4 wires.. it woks with my other circuits that I have for uploading the program to MCU but I this robot has 6 wires, I dono if this will go away by replacing the MCUs or not.

Thanks a lot for your help in advance
