Ok I will admit its not that fun to watch robots vacuum rice . . . but for those building a robot vacuum these videos could potentially be very useful . . .
These videos were filmed at Atlanta Hobby Robot Club's Robot Rally 2006 (by someone else, not me).

i am thinking of making a vacuum robot but cannot think of a suitable way of making suction for the vacuum, have you got any ideas ??
-
how bout using a handheld vacuum cleaner? :P
-
hmmm thats a possibility i suppose, i thought of that, but i wanted to design and build a new method myself, do you think this would be too hard???

i think that building a robot is more fun than building a vacuum cleaner :P
afterall, you will still need to hack the vacuum cleaner to be microcontroller controlled . . .

This is like one of the minigames in Wario Ware where you have to collect paper with a remote controlled roomba

What kind of theese motor controllers would u recommend for a medium robot with strong motors?: http://www.pololu.com/products/pololu/#motocon (http://www.pololu.com/products/pololu/#motocon)

sotu this ain't your thread. ask this question in the "does size matter" thread.
it all depends on how much power the motor uses. so check that out and then buy what you need

Ok, look like u guys have made some rules here...i haven't read any rules from admin says: u cant post ure own questions on others thread!
-
Its not a rule specific to this thread, its a general internet rule. Its like when two people are having a conversation, and a third breaks in, interrupting them, to talk about something completely unrelated.
Its not a rule, its just common courtesy...
