Title: Thinking for getting a book, any recommendations?
Post by: h3ro on August 29, 2007, 02:32:07 PM
I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a beginners book for learning basic robotics?
I know there are a few books recommended on this page, but I need one which also teaches me the basic of electronics.

So, is there a good book that teaches electronic trough robotic examples or something maybe?

Thank you in advance.

I have purchased quite a few books, and still feel that Gordon McComb's "Robot Builder's Bonanza" is the best all around book!  You can get it new or used at Amazon here --->  http://www.amazon.com/Robot-Builders-Bonanza-Tab-Electronics/dp/0071362967

I was thinking of that one, but was a bit unsure on how much electronic theory it teaches. Will it teach me all the basic, or will it assume that I have some knowledge? '

You can always use wikipedia and google for the gaps of knowledge.
