Title: LPT avr programmer

Hi there,

Im going to start with AVR, and i need a programmer to program my avr
But i also want to log my data to my computer (like here: http://www.societyofrobots.com/programming_data_logging.shtml)

Wich programmer should i use to log the data to my pc?

I guess i couldn't use a LPT programmer, since i think that LPT doesn't have an input pin

Programmers aren't for datalogging.

For a data logger, you'd want to interface with the UART (Rx and Tx pins). The programmer would use entirely different pins.
