This is how im planning to build my SoR 2007 contest robot.
A little Fact about what ure looking at:
A hollow wood box as a chassie.
A robot head to add some character to the robot.
Painting at the 2 of the sides of the box to match the colour of the head.
2 Motors with 1 wheeled attached to each.
A front wheel able to turn every direction.

Little late to comment on this old topic but just wanna say my robot is off, im making a walking robot insted (dont wory im not one of those newbies who comes with wishes of building humanoid robots or something) I got it all planned out and have ordered the microcontroller, servos, USB to serial adapter, the normal stuff..:P
