Hello.

Has anyone ever heard of a wiki encyclopedia project called Citizendium?

I'm currently working on 2 articles about humanoid robots, and I thought that it'd be nice to have more people who are interested to participate.

Unfortunately because Wikipedia is so big among wiki encyclopedias Citizendium doesn't have access to a large pool of new participants.

One thing to note about Citizendium is that you have to use your real name as you would if you were publishing in a research journal or a newspaper. This is a very positive thing because there is absolutely no troll, no vandalism, and no huge time wastes involving unhappy arguments in Citizendium.

Citizendium articles also do not suffer from drive-by-editing, which usually causes well-written articles to disintegrate over time into disorderly fact listing.

If we develop the articles well enough in terms of comprehensiveness, size, and presentation, we can have editors approve them. Editing on the approved articles are done at the draft page, and the approved version of the article is kept locked until it is replaced by a later approved version.
